Our philosophy

Refinement of Life through Elaborating Individuality

As proverbs say, “The child is father of the man” and “genius displays itself even in childhood”, individuality often denotes innate characteristic, qualities and natural talent by the stage of elementary and secondary education. In the stage of higher education, however, “individuality” is described further as “expertise”, and specialization in the advanced, social, and academic fields is regarded as “individuality”.

Based on the education to concentrate on and specialize in an expertise, we aim to achieve students’ self-awareness of the social mission as an advanced professional for their lifework. Our education also assigns great value to originality and creativity that only the identity of “individuality” allows.

“Refinement of Life through Elaborating Individuality” is the school philosophy not only in terms of schooling and education, but also for achieving self-realization throughout one’s entire career.

History of JUE

Campus

Our university holds 3 campuses in Fukuoka, Tokyo, and Hyogo (Kobe).

Fukuoka Campus

Fukuoka Campus is the largest campus out of the three which pursues both a wide range of academic courses and plentiful extracurricular activities. The dormitory for male and female are rendered at this campus.

It is located in Dazaifu, an area with a deep history, rich nature and cultural heritage. They provide a suitable environment for education. You can easily access Tenjin and Hakata (urban cities) and enjoy fulfilling student life.

Tokyo Shibuya Campus

The Tokyo-Shibuya campus is set in the number one trend-setting area in Japan and Tokyo. Leading-edge education in an environment conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Shibuya Station. With the Shibuya area as its campus, students can form practical skills and enjoy both academics and youth.

This campus holds graduate school as well.

Kobe Sannomiya Campus

he campus is located in the center of Kobe, an international port city with an “exotic” atmosphere! Students will acquire a global perspective and business sense for the new era while interacting with a city that flourishes as a trading city and a key tourism destination.
